Angharad Rudkin, MA (Oxon), BPS, AFBPsS, HCPC<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A clinical psychologist and Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society, Dr Angharad Rudkin has worked with children, adolescents, and their families for over 20 years. She taught child psychology at the University of Southampton<\/a> for 12 years before leaving in 2020 to focus more on writing. Angharad has co-authored parenting and children\u2019s books, including \u201cThe Split Survival Kit<\/a>\u201d, and was consultant editor for the divorce guide \u201c101 questions answered about separating with children<\/a>\u201d and \u201cSeparation and Parenting through the Pandemic\u201d. An agony aunt for the high-circulation Metro newspaper, she regularly appears on TV and radio as an expert on child and family issues. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

David Curl, MA (Oxon), PhD<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Film-maker, scientist and writer, Dr David Curl\u2019s career bridges art and science. An award-winning cinematographer, director and producer, he has created and worked on numerous international films, produced media for TV, radio, print and online, and worked in science and wildlife conservation. He has been a long-time contributor to policy development in a number of fields, and is currently CEO of Two Wishes’ partner organisation For Kids Sake<\/a>, a registered Australian charity, and an active member of a Cafcass<\/a> Advisory Board improving practices relating to family violence and separation.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Jane Jackson<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jane Jackson was the founder of the Bristol Grandparents Support Group<\/a>, a well-respected UK organisation helping grandparents and other relatives experiencing family breakdown. A full-time carer to her own mum for many years and with two sons herself, she was a School Teaching Assistant for 15 years, supporting Special Needs children and children with low self-esteem. She has qualification to teach PHSE (Personal, Health, Social Education), was a Union Learning Representative for several years, and spent four years as the chair of governors at a primary school in England\u2019s south-west.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Nick Child, BSc MB ChB MRCPsych Mphil<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A child psychiatrist with the NHS Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services<\/a> in Scotland until 2003, Dr Nick Child grew up in India and has lived in Scotland for the past 50 years. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Over the past two decades, he has worked as a family therapist in Edinburgh\u2019s voluntary sector team while campaigning initially for the extension of the scope of family therapy and, more recently, for a wider recognition of the nightmare faced by many separating families and their children as a result of the systems we currently have in place to deal with family breakdown.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Our international executive comprises family court judges, child psychiatrists, life coaches, media and many other professionals in six countries, from the USA to Australia, from London to Shanghai.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Advisory Boards<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our work crosses many boundaries and covers many disciplines – from media and communications to social policy and family law. Eight separate Advisory Boards convene quarterly to give advice and make recommendations to our Executive and Board of Directors. These prominently include the views of Young People, First Nations peoples, social and community workers, and health and media professionals.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

International Representatives<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

We currently have representatives in eleven countries and five continents. In addition to working with Two Wishes in each country, many contribute to our international campaign and to issues that are universal: the importance, for instance, for all children of being able to maintain and develop positive relationships with all who love and care for them.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
